front office refers to the reception area or the core operations department of the hotel.. This would include the reception and front desk, as well as reservations, sales and marketing and concierge. This is the place where guests go when they arrive at the hotel.
In other word, it is "Show Case Window" of the hotel which reflects the image of a hotel
House keeping department is also known as the back bone of the hotel as they are responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of the front of the house areas as well as back of the house areas in order to keep them fresh and aesthetically appealing on the first day the hotel property opened for business.The aim is to provide their customer with clean,attractive,comfortable and welcoming surrounding that offers value for money.
