B.Tech – Electrical and Electronics Engineering
About the program:
Electrical and Electronics Engineering is one of the traditional engineering disciplines which deals with the study and application of electricity and electronics. B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a four-year undergraduate program imparting basic knowledge in main disciplines such as radio-frequency design, signal processing, microelectronics; microprocessors, control systems, communications, power generation, and electrical machines, etc.
The course curriculum at Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology (DBIT), one of the top colleges for electrical engineering in Dehradun, involves both electronics and electrical subjects. The electrical ones deal with the problems related to large scales electrical systems such as power transmission and motor controls while the electronics deals with the small-scale electronics systems such as computers and integrated circuits etc. The advanced course curriculum of the institute trains the candidates to understand systems, procedures, and machines that are essential in power production. The students are taught topics or subjects like Application based Programming in Python, Digital System Design, Microprocessor and Microcontroller with Interfacings and Network Analysis & Synthesis. Under this program, students also learn to develop new technologies to implement in improving the electronics & communication systems. Other than this, the program also offers students insights on how to use the latest computer interfacing technologies in instruments laboratory. With a balanced combination of theory and practical, this program prepares students to design and test electronic circuits skillfully. Under the program, students can also gain a good understanding of design techniques electronics systems and their uses in areas such as control telecommunications and consumer products.

Eligibility and Duration:
- The candidate must have cleared senior secondary education with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and any one of the subjects-Chemistry / Bio – Technology/ Computer Science / Biology from a recognized board.
- Or the candidate should have cleared 3 year Diploma from an AICTE approved institute.
- Or he / she may have cleared B.Sc. from a recognized institute along with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in class 12.

- It is a full time course, 4 years in duration divided into 8 semesters and 3 years in duration divided into 6 semesters for lateral entry.
