The Department of Fashion Design at the Dev Bhoomi Group of Institution was established at the start of the academic year 2018-2019. Since its inception, the department has been working consistently towards becoming the ‘hub of excellence’ for the study of fashion design through imparting quality knowledge and lucrative industry exposure. Through the constant efforts, dedication and world-class facilities, Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions, fashion designing college in Dehradun, Uttarakhand has grabbed the position as one among various famous colleges in such a short span of time.

The department follows an advanced and industry-oriented course curriculum for preparing competent and creative professionals. Under the curriculum, students follow a challenging program for both Fashion Design and Fabric studies. Under the program, the students will learn the fashion skills and techniques of the clothes production through lectures and workshops designed exclusively for the fashion industry where information regarding the latest technologies, fabrics and trends are passed on.

Welcome to the department of Fashion Design at Dev Bhoomi Group Of Institutions, Dehradun. The department is located in a sprawling environment with a state of art facilities and dedicated faculty. The department works with the objective of addressing critical challenges faced by the apparel and Fashion Industry, society and the academia. Perhaps even more important is our unceasing commitment to our students, helping them to learn, grow, develop, and achieve their goals in their pursuit to excel in their professional career.

If fabrics, colors and clothes inspire and excite you and if you have a talent for innovation, then Fashion Design is surely the career for you. With fashion catching on fast over India, Fashion Design students can take up positions as fashion co-ordinators, stylists, merchandisers, textile analysts, pattern makers, production managers, store managers, fashion illustrators and even fashion journalists. Students of Fashion Design have avenues open to them even in allied fields like window-dressing, choreography and accessory design.

Though it is not primarily a textbook-course program, students that are enrolled into the program own an artistic talent to begin with, and are taught to strengthen and develop their passion while given extensive knowledge and comprehension of fashion interpretation.
