About Event:

 

 Dress from Scrap is an online contest for all the creative people who admire the fashion world and want to be part of it. Its a platform for students who have got designing talent and want to show it to the world.
AIM of the Event:

 

  

  1. To provide a platform for young fashion aspirants.
  2. To bring out creativity and talent.
  3. Giving an opportunity to experiment with the scrap to construct a dress.
  4. Motivating the young generation to bring the best out of waste.
  5. Inspiring to work with limited resources and still creating beauty.
Instruction:
  1. The competition is open for the age group between 17-21.
  2. Design one Female garment viz Midi, long dress, gown.
  3. The dress must be made out of scrap.
  4. No fresh material to be used except trims.
  5. The dress may be created with any used material.
  6. Click a picture and send it through mail at events@dbgidoon.ac.in alongwith your Full Name, Contact number, City & State.
  7. The presentation should be good.
  8. Last date of submission: 6th Aug’2020
Highlights of Events 

           

 

  

  1. The event will be judged by Fashion Entrepreneurs and Head of Fashion Design Department.
  2. The first two winners will receive scholarships worth ₹ 11,000 & ₹ 5,000, respectively
  3. The winners will be notified by email.
  4. The photograph of winning designs will be published on social media.
