Educational Visit to Livestock farm

About Visit: Department of Agriculture, DBIMS Dehradun, is going for Livestock farm visit on 16/04/2019 at Valley Farm, Subhash Nagar (Dehradun).The objective of the visit is to provide students with an understanding of the basic knowledge about Livestock farm.

Aim of Visit:

• To know about different breeds of cattle and buffalo.
• To understand the working operation of milking machines.
• To know about different livestock feeding methods.
• To know about different housing system.
• To study about animal’s hygiene and sanitation.
