Guest Lecture on Policy Intervention in Skill Development by Department of Applied Science

A session on “Policy Intervention in Skill Development” was delivered by Ms. Nidhi Gautam, Principal Consultant at National Skill Development Agency, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Ministry of skill development and Entrepreneurship was set up in November 2014 to bring convergence among the skill initiatives undertaken by various other ministries and institutions.

NSDA is a regulatory arm of the ministry.

The talk highlighted the various policy level measures, which ministry and its subsidiary organizations have taken so far. The students were enlightened on various avanues which they can take up to harness their skill sets.
