ABOUT EVENT
About Event :  India’s start-up ecosystem is witnessing an influx of investors. Post 2017, investment into start-ups have increased by over 100 percent, from USD 2.0 Bn in 2017 to USD 4.2 Bn in 2018. Department of management is organizing a seminar on Start-up Ecosystem in India. The focus of this seminar is on the current scenario and emerging trends across the various dimensions that define the Indian start-up ecosystem, and gauge India’s position as a global start-up hub that is becoming attractive for investors, start-ups & corporates.

REPORT
Today’s workshop on “Start-up ecosystem in India by Dr. Sunil Shekhawat”, started with key note address by Prof. Rakesh Meet, Dean- Management followed by lamp lighting ceremony by Dr. Sunil Shekhawat, Regional Head-North, NASSCOM and Mr. Aman Bansal, MD, DBGI. In the first half of the Workshop Mr. Shekhawat took students through his own start-up journey and briefed them about the Do’s and Don’t for a Start-up. Later in the second half of the workshop, students were divided in the group of 5 students wherein they had to make a business plan for their start-up.
