Workshop on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

About Event : The major objective of this workshop to enhance the knowledge of students in the field of multi domain behavior of fluid. The main aim of this workshop is to impart basic and research oriented knowledge on CFD and its applications. This course will cover the PDEs in fluid dynamics, Finite difference and Finite volume discretization methods, Turbulence models, Convection and Radiation problems, Two-phase flows and Aerospace applications.. CFD is a very robust technique that finds wide applications in various industry sectors. There is an immense need for engineers, who understand and can apply the techniques of CFD to solve a variety of design, analysis and optimisation problems.

 AIM of the Events

  • Fundamentals of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) will be presented to students.
  • Application of CFD for more efficient and effective design and operation of heat exchanger, boilers, automobiles  will be demonstrated.
  • Real-world case studies will be presented to highlight the benefits and challenges of using CFD modeling for various applications.
  • Two-phase flows
