About Event: Faculty of Food Technology, DBIMS Dehradun, is going to organize a guest lecture on 13/03/2019 by Dr. Anita Sati, Sr. Lecturer (HOD, Home Science), Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar Uttrakhand on topic “Food and Nutrition for well-being”. The objective of the lecture is to provide students with an understanding of the basic role of nutritional and healing approach to wellness.

Aim of Event:

  • To know about physicochemical properties of food.
  • To understand the importance of eating right and how decisions on food habits have a significant effect on our physical and mental health in long run.
